Books and Binders

I've been working on a Family Binder, check out Parenting with Miss Poppins for more on this and because I'm doing something, the girl child who wants to do it too. What does a 4 year old need in her organization binder? First I printed monthly calendars for her to keep track of important events from now until Christmas. Then I found a printable wish list for Santa so every time she sees a commercial and says she wants something, she can add it to the list. I also printed some mazes and other preschool worksheets for her to do.

My book is full of To Do and Idea Lists and I wanted something like that for her too so I thought I would add a Books to Read List. There are tons of lists out there but I wanted this to be a list she could manage and for that there needed to be pictures so I had to create my own. I took some books from the lists on Amazon's List Mania and added a few that I've been putting on Pinterest and this is what I came up with.

The idea is that she can use the list to look for books in the library and then cross them off as we read them. You can get my whole list here - Books to Read - Preschool Girls. I did this very quickly this morning because of course she wanted her binder down "now" so updating it is now being added to my To Do list:)

Happy Reading!
